In the kitchen, glass is the material that offers surface perfection, complemented by translucency, the appearance of spatiality and that special optical effect of “low volume”.

New kitchen materials
Glass can be produced in any colour and can have a glossy or matte-satin appearance (“frosting” is done by a chemical process of controlled exposure of the visible surface to acids).

Glass offers a huge list of properties and used properly for kitchen fronts, you do not have to worry that it will break; the glass is secure, so it is almost 5 times stronger than normal glass. In addition, it will not age over time.
A common process in the production of kitchen furniture is the gluing of glass panels on a support panel (chipboard or MDF), but this process involves dimensional and weight restrictions of the panels and can cause stability problems over time – the end effect being cracking or even breaking of the glass.
Pros and cons
