The kitchen is the agora of the house, the place where family and friends gather together.
We designed a kitchen that redefines the term kitchen, as an area reserved for cooking. Our new project is designed as a social center, with a function of cafeteria and wine bar, perfect for hosting organized or impromptu parties.
The client did not want a kitchen dedicated to cooking in particular, and the decision was to give up everything that would be useless in a conventional kitchen and to limit ourselves to the comfort of the kitchen as a social area, with the advantage of having the facilities for cooking when needed.
As technical details, the snack bar counter is sliding to hide the induction hob and sink, the side-by-side refrigerator is built into the columns with the handles, next to an oven with a thermal drawer and a built-in automatic coffee machine.
The smoked glass columns showcase the crockery and table service, and a built-in cold wine cellar keeps the wine collection at the optimum serving temperature.
The dominant material for the fronts is Rovere Carbone, a burnt wood finish, complete with all-black details for the metal structure of the display case, handles, and baseboards.
